Executive Director

Dan R. Van Dyke
The executive director administers and manages the operations of the museum and supervises the staff under the direction of the Phelps County Historical Society Board of Directors. This includes the maintenance of buildings and grounds, working with volunteers, planning, supervising, and coordinating all programs and activities emanating from the museum.

Museum Staff

Cheryl Mill
Cheryl keeps records, answers the phone, greets guests, and has responsibilities to keep the museum running smoothly. She is in charge of accessioning items donated to the museum and keeping a record of these items.

Keith Weaver Maintenance Superintendent
Keith takes care of the grounds and oversees maintenance of the many buildings.

Sandra Slater
Sandra is a volunteer in charge of the large research library. She and other volunteers are working in the library Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Sandra is available by appointment for those coming to do research on family history.
