Steve Frisell, a genius at stripping paint off metal…like cars, trucks, and antique desk frames. The items Steve is holding are parts of a very old school desk. The desk was given to the Nebraska Prairie Museum by the Titkemeier family of Cozad. Mrs. Titkemeier is the daughter of Don and Bernice Lindgren, who played a big part in starting the Nebraska Prairie Museum, especially the museum library, which is named after him. The school desk will have its wooden parts remade by Bill Perry and will find its way to a school room in the museum.
